Anthony Sweat began teaching as the Assistant Professor of Church History at Brigham Young University in 2013. Prior to that, he worked as a Seminaries and Institute Teacher for the Church Education System for 13 years. Sweat earned a bachelor’s degree in painting and drawing from the University of Utah and a master’s and doctorate degree from Utah State University. He has written and co-authored 10 books on religious teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is an accomplished painter. His most recent books are The Holy Invitation and Christ in Every Hour. Anthony is a regular speaker at LDS event and other conferences. He and his wife, Cindy, live in Springville, Utah. They have seven children.
